The Parlour Chair frame is fabricated from solid European Beech with Howard and Son style turned legs in Mahogany. With a luxurious feather and down filled cushion to compliment the period style, the Parlour exudes comfort.

This example is upholstered in Orchid Birds, a Studio G fabric from Clarke & Clarke with a choice of 6 colourways.  However, you can choose your own fabric to suit your interior style.

This classically inspired chair is fully hand sprung using traditional techniques. It has natural hair and fibre over a hand tied coil spring construction so it’s part of our heirloom collection. It comes complete with a deep buttoned diamond back and three buttons in each arm. 

The Parlour Chair, inspired by Howard & Sons furniture designs, would have been found in the finest English houses in the late 19th Century. It is a versatile and timeless fireside, sitting room or as its name suggests a parlour chair. A contemporary heirloom, with a timeless quality which can be passed down the generations.

The chair shown is upholstered in Orchid Birds, Rouge by Studio G. It’s a 100% cotton composition from the Sherwood collection by Clarke & Clarke from Sanderson Design Group.
