The Study Chair

The Study Chair frame is fabricated from solid European Beech with Howard and Son style turned legs in Mahogany. This example is  upholstered in a pomegranate inspired ‘Little Chintz’ fabric from Morris & Co with a choice of 4 colourways. With a Crest vintage brown leather, feather and down filled cushion to compliment the period style. However, you can choose your own fabric to suit your interior style.

This classy chair is traditionally made and hand coil sprung. It has natural hair and plant fibres stitched over a hand tied coil spring construction.

The Study Chair, inspired by Howard & Sons furniture designs, would have been found in the finest English houses in the late 19th Century. It is a versatile and timeless fireside, sitting room or as its name suggests a study chair. A contemporary heirloom, with a quality which can be passed down the generations.

The chair shown is in Fabric : Morris and Co. Little Chintz 80% Viscose 20% Linen from Sanderson Design Group.
